I was just listening to a replay of Sunday night's US Senate debate.

Mark Kennedy was asked whether the values of the GOP majority in Congress reflect Minnesota's values, in light of financial and sex scandals.

Of course, he said yes.

Has he heard about Republican Rep. Bob Ney, who won't resign his seat despite pleading guilty in the Abramoff scandal?

Does Kennedy believe that not allowing amendments on the House floor, and having Republican-only committees secretly craft bills in the dead of night reflect Minnesota values?

Does Kennedy believe that running up a huge deficit and out of control earmaking of bills reflects Minnesota values?

Does Kennedy believe that not even voting on most of the appropriations bills before the mid-term elections reflects Minnesota values?

Mark Kennedy has a different view of Minnesota than I have.
