Hatchet Job on

Hatchet Job on Ortmann;
Interesting that our own Michelle Helgen (District 112 School Board Member) is Chief of Staff for Larry Pogemiller, leader of the left in the DFL Senate and head of the Taxpayer Committee. Coincidence with the timing of the Strib Hatchet job, or not?
To say that Julianne has been a pain in Pogemiller's backside over the past few years would be an understatement, but for someone like Michelle to allegedly leak to the Strib on behalf of her boss during the last few days of negotiations means that someone is losing their cool.
Me thinks that Pogemiller is trying to get even because of the losses he's suffering from the governor, and rather than picking on someone his own size; he's picking on the girl in the room.
How come the feminists aren't coming to Julianne's side; after all she's working two jobs at once and supporting a family. Sounds a lot like our School Board member also acting as Chief of Staff for the DFL Senate leader. What are her more important priorities? To School District 112 or the DFL? Would seem that holding those two positions at the same time would create serious conflict of interest issues, with a high degree of ambiguity about which master to serve first.
Or....perhaps everyone can just calm down and realize that a citizen legislature is a citizen legistlature, and people actually hold down two jobs at once. If Michelle Helgen can do it, why can't Julianne Ortmann do it?
This has nothing to do with feminism. Double dipping is wrong whether it's done by a man or a woman.
