From last Friday's debate on the energy bill (House Video Archives).
In this video, Rep. Kate Knuth (DFL) 50B asks Deputy Minority Leader Tom Emmer (R) 19B if he believes the Earth is thousands of years old or if it is billions of years old.
Rep. Tom Emmer stammers and other legislators laugh at Emmer:

Go get em' Kate!
stammer, stammer, stammer....
Did he say "well, She's not important" when she said she believed evolution occurred? Holy cow! (er, no pun intended).
I would have had a better answer to the question "are you an evolutionist or a creationist?"
"Sir, I am a *scientist*"
Good catch, Ken. Loved it.
Rep. Emmer isn't exactly articulate, but Kate Knuth is a lamer with no credibility to invoke science into anything--this woman totally buys the global warming scam and its associated junk science.
She also advocates expanding bike paths and greenways as a crucial piece of our transportation infrastructure. Asking her a question on economics yields answers on the level of Rep. Emmer's performance albeit with a bit less stammering but all of the hot air. All-in-all a well educated but not too bright empty pantsuit.
This 26 year old wonder woman is all symbolism and no substance. She is an embarrassment to her constituents that hopefully turns out to be a one-term wonder.
According to Rep. Knuth's legislative homepage, she has a BA in biology from the University of Chicago, and a masters degree from Oxford.
I'd say she has the credentials to ask knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers like Rep. Emmer questions about scientific facts.
Knuth has a nice CV. Her actual experience as a scientist would qualify her for an entry level job preparing agar.
BTW - knuckle dragger Emmer has a Law Degree from Wiliam Mitchell...
