Andy at Residual Forces quotes from the letter.
After the 2006 elections there are no longer any Republican legislators left north of Brainerd and our BPOU’s are demoralized or non-existent. Greater Minnesota was abandoned. I am not going to say anything bad about Ron Carey’s leadership because I had my first, last, and only conversation with him (or anyone at the state level for that matter) in early 2006, which I think speaks volumes in and of itself.
Grab the popcorn and read the comment thread:

On the same day that Congresswoman Michele Bachmann sent out a very positive letter in support of Ron Carey, a disgruntled former State Senator sends out a nasty attack mailing for Joe Repya.
I’ll take Congresswoman Michele Bachmann over angry Carrie Ruud any day. I am confident that the majority of delegates will do the same on Saturday.

Watch out for that 11th Commandment, it can be one heck of a stumbling point when running out behind it to throw some mud at a fellow GOPer.
Is this more of only the winners get to have a say?
Oh, and compare that to CD 4 Chair Koch’s greasy attack from last week.

Michele Bachmann endorsed Carey?
That can’t be true - Andy said that Carey wasn’t telling the truth when they said that she had endorsed Carey - and we know that Andy always tells the truth.
So don’t believe what you read - only listen Andy.
I don’t recall reading Andy retracting his statement, so this must not be correct - Andy has spoken.

And of course the former State Senator should not be mad for lack of support that he feels he got from the State party office. And besides no elected or former Republican official shall speak evil of Mr. Carey.
There's much more over there.
